How do we invoice for website updates?

It’s based on time, but not how you think.

To ensure you are never paying more than anticipated for a requested service, a maximum work time is always included in the estimate prior to approval. At the end of each billing cycle, all work performed is rounded up to the nearest 15 minutes.

Contact us with your request(s) and we’ll provide you with a MAXIMUM cost for us to complete the request.
Once you approve the cost, we’ll get started and we’ll log the time that it took.
At the end of the month, we’ll add all time logged and round the total up to the nearest 15 minutes. We’ll even send you a task report if you like.
We’ll then bill you and reset your account for next month. If and when you need more updates done, we’ll start all over again.

Example:

Let’s say you need a new page added into your website and we tell you we’ll need 15 minutes to add it in. You jump with glee and say yes.

Off we go, and we add the new page. As weird as it sounds, let’s now assume we logged 10 minutes. Sweet!

Within the same month, you then reach out to get a photo gallery put into your site. We tell you it’ll be around 30 minutes to complete. Again, you jump for joy and give the go-ahead.

So off we go again, and it takes us 23 minutes for the gallery.

At the end of the month, we add up all time logged for your tasks, which is 33 minutes in total. Now all we simply do is round your monthly total up to the nearest 15 minutes.

Do you know the answer? That’s right, your bill for the month will be for 45 mins.
